Minister Grigoryan was in Artsakh on a working visit: an agreement on cooperation has been signed between the two ministries

On July 11, the delegation headed by RA Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Artur Grigoryan was in Artsakh. The Minister met with the Minister of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures of the Republic of Artsakh Levon Grigoryan.

RA Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Artur Grigoryan informed that this is his first official visit to Artsakh and assured that it will be continuous. "At present, we have electricity export from Artsakh to Armenia. The most important achievement for us is that Artsakh is self-sufficient at this moment in terms of electricity, and the further result of our joint work will bring us to add the export portions, and, besides, we can also ensure the creation of a whole unified system, which preferred option for us is the energy security and reliability", informed Artur Grigoryan.

The Minister of Economic and Industrial Infrustructures of the Artsakh Republic Levon Grigoryan thanked for the accepting invitation and highlighting the importance of the cooperation between the two republics, said: "Energy sector is a priority in our republic and there is a traditional long-term cooperation between the two ministries. We have a number of issues to be discussed together, as our two republics are in one energy field", said Levon Grigoryan.

At the meeting, headed by the State Minister of Artsakh Grigory Martirosyan, the issues related to the reliability and security of high-voltage power transmission lines, the issues of putting on the operation the small hydropower plants and the issues of cooperation with Armenia in this sphere were discussed.

The meeting of the delegation of the Armenian Republic Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources with the Artsakh Republic Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures was concluded by the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the two ministries, which was also attended by State Minister of the Artsakh Republic Grigory Martirosyan. The document signed between the partner structures will serve as a basis for the expansion and deepening of ties between the respective ministries of Armenia and Artsakh.
